Lexington or Bust

Our apartment is basically packed up, thanks to the inimitable efforts of Caesar Cat, and we are now impatiently awaiting next Saturday morning a.k.a. Moving Day a.k.a. Please Dear God Let the Truck be able to Tow the Uhaul 2000 Miles Day. Huzzah and onward!

Here's hoping the trip is relatively uneventful.... I dunno, the truck was unable to get the uhaul the entire way from Laramie to Moscow last summer, but we think that was in large part due to the fact that it hadn't been properly worked on prior to our departure. Yeah.... that was an epic fail. This time it's had a check-up, though, and we're taking the smallest uhaul trailer available. The little truck says, "Bring it."

I think we should be good after we pass the Rocky Mountains of Montana and head into the wild blue yonders of Wyoming and Nebraska. Yay, western Nebraska should be particularly riveting. But then we head south to Kansas City, Missouri, and cross that state to enter....... Ken-TUH-ky!! Whew!! Approximately 2,002 miles later....

But you know what's up. It's Lexington or Bust.
